Worship Ministries at FCBC

But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

John 4:23-24 (New King James Version)

Worship Ministry

If you love music, singing, playing an instru-ment and are interested in the Music & Worship Ministry here at FCBC, please e-mail Aaron Cramer here.

The worship ministry of FCBC is an essential part of each service.  Our desire is to lead the congregation in meaningful worship and to worship the Lord in spirit and in truth. There are opportunities each week to use your talents during our services.

Children’s Choir Practice - Wednesday 7pm
Wiggles and Squiggles– Wednesday 7pm

Adult Choir

Vocal opportunities include the adult choir, soloists and ensembles.  The choir practices every Saturday at 4:00pm. No formal training is necessary, although knowing how to sing with a group of people in a section is helpful.  The choir sings during morning worship services as well as presents special music during the year, such as Christmas and Easter.  Opportunities for soloists and ensembles include worship services and special events.

Children's Choir

Children’s Choir is a place where children, ages K-5th grade can begin to learn the basics of music.  Not only do we sing, but we also present plays and skits throughout the year.  The Children’s Choir participates with the Adult Choir each year during the Christmas Cantata, and also presents one major production during the year. From time to time, the choir sings during Sunday morning services.

Musicians

Instrumentalists are an integral part of the worship ministry.  Musicians practice weekly for the upcoming services, as well as learn new music.  If you read music or play by ear, there is a place for you.  Musicians play on Sundays, as well as other special services and events.

Sound and Light Team

The sound and light team (SALT) is a great way to put your interest in computers and electronics to work.  The SALT department runs audio, lights, computers, and video cameras during each service.  No matter what your skill level, you can be a part of this important team.

For more information on any of these ministries, contact Matt at the above number.
