Not Equal Gifts, But Equal Sacrifice!
What is Vision to Victory?
Vision to Victory is an exciting opportunity for Friendly Community Baptist Church. It is heart stirring to think how enlarging our facilities will enable us to reach out and meet the spiritual needs of both youth and adults alike.
Jesus tells us in Matthew 19:14, "Let the little children come to Me and do not forbid them; for such is the kingdom of heaven." The Great Commission commands us not only to reach the multitudes but it also gives us the responsibility to teach those the Scriptures.
The proposed new facilities will provide much needed space for the Children’s Enrichment Ministry, AWANA, Student Ministries, Sunday School, Small Groups, Ladies Ministries, Men’s Ministries, Senior Adult Ministries, a Fellowship area that can be utilized by all, and much more. We desperately need additional space to provide for these activities and to continue to keep our children thru seniors actively involved in Christian activities.
Years ago, Friendly started in the white chapel next door with a faithful congregation who had a vision for ministry and were willing to make sacrifices. Our current facilities we now have are maxed out, bursting with the need for more area for ministry... God is working, so must we.
In order to meet this challenge however, we need to be obedient to the Scriptures and be doers as well as hearers of the Word.
Sacrificial gifting is a Scriptural principle that is both God honoring, and God blessed. Our sacrifice is made easier when we have a cause and a goal as purposeful as ours. Remember, it is not through equal gifts, but through equal sacrifice that we will accomplish “Vision to Victory.” Please pray and be obedient to God's voice.

Education Ministries
- 9,600 sq.ft. facility encompassing two levels
-11 new classrooms having 4,265 sq. ft. additional space
accomodating approximately 420 adults and children in
Sunday School
- Multi-use Classrooms to accomodate future growth of
our Children’s Enrichment Ministries
- Spacious Restrooms (Downstairs and Upstairs)

“Vision to Victory” is the name given to our Capital Stewardship Program. This program will allow us to raise the money needed to move forward with our building plans. “Vision to Victory” encourages each of us to prayerfully consider making a financial commitment towards the completion of this building project. This commitment is to be over and above our current giving and can be paid over the next three years “Not Equal Gifts, But Equal Sacrifice” ...is our stewardship theme. To raise this amount of money will require each family increasing giving to signi cantly higher levels. This will require sacrifice. Although we cannot give the same amount in dollars we can each give at equal levels sacrificially.

We are encouraged to begin Praying. Pray for God to lead
each family at Friendly Community Baptist Church to discover
ways to reach sacrifice through our giving. Pray for our
church’s leadership for wisdom in the days ahead. Pray that
each of us find a signi cant place in ful lfiling the vision of our
church. Pray that God will provide His church a great day of
Victory in reaching people for Christ.
