what is fcbc student ministries?
If you have never been apart of a vibrant group of teenagers (6th-12th grade) in your area or church, this is your opportunity. We meet for singing, prayer, games, and gripping youth talks every Sunday @ 6pm. Throughout the summer and school year we participate in awesome activities like: Summer Camp, All Nighters, Afterglows, Super Sunday’s, the Ski Trip and so much more!! That’s not all, our meetings are vibrant and relevant. We study the Word of God for the 21st century student, using video’s, games, and discussions that make sense of the Bible. This is a place where leaders talk to you not at you (or worse down to you) - about hard issues you face everyday.
Join other students from all over Pender County, including students from: Burgaw Middle, Penderlea School, Heidi-Trask High, Pender High, Laney High, and others...Each week!!
Come ready, learn, grow, Go!!

Service Times
Student Church Every Sunday @ 5:30pm (effective 9/12)
Sunday School – Junior High and Senior High 11:00am - 12:00 Noon
Small Group/S.S.
Every Sunday Morning from 11:00-12:00 Noon we meet in the back mobile unit of the church campus, Room 202 for Senionr High, and Room 201 for Junior High for this connection time. (Click here if you would like to see a campus layout). The time is designed for Students to connect to God and one another. Every service provides students with an opportunity to grow in their relationship with God through the hearing of God’s Word, singing, prayer time, and Friendships with one another.
We start our time by meeting together and for the lesson time we separate into Junior High and Senior High. These age breakdowns allow for us to teach lessons pertaining to issues you are dealing with every day.
Student Church
Every Sunday Evening from 6:00-7:00pm we meet in the Chapel Building (White church) together in a large group. It is a large group service that includes games, music, video’s, and a practical lesson. This is a more relaxed setting where students can make and build friendships with one another and be encouraged in their relationships with God.
Afterglows
This is a time when students can truly relax. There is no agenda. We usually don’t have anything planned. Just come and hang out at the Cramer’s House. We’ll serve you dinner (for FREE), play games, watch movies/TV, play ping-pong, air hockey, foosball, have a camp fire, just talk and of course relax!! This time is so important for us to grow as a group and as a family in Christ!
Activities, Day Trips, and the All Nighter
Every month of the year we try to do things together as a group. In 2009 we were able to go to Wet N’ Wild Water Park, the NC Zoo, the NC Aquarium, Fort Fisher, Ice Skating, the movies, to Christian Concerts, Outdoor Picnic’s, Cookouts, Beach Days, and Eat Great food at the annual Costume Party...just for fun.
The Highlight of the year is the New Years Eve All-Nighter where we go to a movie, go roller skating or bowling, play CRAZY games, Underground Church, and all kinds of other crazy stuff ALL NIGHT on December 31!!
Ski Trip and Summer Camp
We see in Scripture moments when Jesus retreated off alone to spend time with His Father. He got away from the hustle and bustle of normal life to spend some time alone communing with God. In a similar way, several times throughout the year we take weekend or week-long retreats to provide an opportunity for our students to get away from the fast-paced society we live in and connect with God.
The Ski Trip is a trip designed to teach Servant Leadership. This 2 1/2 day trip allows for us to discuss what it means to be a servant in an ungodly world. One full day is spent on the slopes and it is a blast!
Summer camp is our time to get away from it all and enjoy a week at camp...fun and Spiritual Revival!!
